A concrete walkway had been sinking for a while and had started to slant toward the house in Stayner, ON. As a result, water was pooling along the house. The homeowner was getting worried water might start leaking through to the basement.

The homeowner called Canadian Concrete Leveling hoping to get the walkway fixed. Paul Mendell, Project Lead, visited the homeowner and suggested our patented PolyLevel® Injection System. Bill McKeown and Kyle McKeown, our expert installation team, lifted and stabilized the concrete slabs to make the walkway level again. Next, the team used NexusPro® Sealant between the walkway and house to prevent water from leaking through the foundation. 

The homeowner was excited to have the walkway repaired in a short amount of time and enjoy peace of mind knowing water was not going to leak into their basement. 

Over time, concrete steps started to sink and were beginning to slant to the side in Stayner, ON. The steps had a large gap between the top step and the porch. The steps were becoming a tripping hazard for the homeowner's elderly parents. 

The homeowner called Canadian Concrete Leveling and our Project Lead, Paul Mendell, explained the benefits of our PolyLevel Injection System. Our installation team, Bill McKeown and Kyle McKeown, used polyurethane and NexusPro Sealant. The polyurethane was injected under the steps to lift, stabilize, and level the concrete. NexusPro Sealant was used around the steps to keep water out. 

The homeowner was relieved that the tripping hazard was eliminated and they wouldn’t have to worry about their elderly parents using the stairs. 

Nothing beats lounging around a pool in the summer. It’s something we look forward to during the colder months, but for a Creemore, Ontario, customer shifting concrete put her summer plans on hold.

Over time her concrete pool deck had shifted, creating numerous cracks and tripping hazards. Concerned for the safety of family and friends, she reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling, looking for a solution that would save her from having to redo the entire patio. 

Project Manager Joe McColl met with the customer and created a plan to restore the concrete. Foreman Bill McKeown and Installation Specialist Greg Sigalis used PolyLevel® injections to lift the concrete and fill the voids beneath. They also sealed the cracks using our NexusPro® sealant.

The customer is pleased that her pool deck is safe once again, and she no longer has to worry about cracks. She also saved the money and time of replacing the whole deck.

This project involved leveling a sunken concrete driveway and adjacent walkway slab at the garage entrance. Over time, soil settlement caused the concrete to sink and shift, creating an uneven surface along the garage threshold. The misalignment affected both the appearance of the driveway and the functionality of the area, creating a tripping hazard and allowing water to drain toward the garage.

Canadian Concrete Leveling used professional concrete leveling techniques to raise and stabilize the affected slabs, restoring the concrete to a safe and even grade. Once the concrete was properly aligned with the garage floor, we applied our premium crack and joint sealant along the transition between the driveway and the garage. This final step helps prevent water intrusion, protects against future movement, and ensures a clean, seamless transition between the concrete and the structure. The result is a durable, long-lasting solution that improves safety, drainage, and overall curb appeal without the need for full concrete replacement.

Foreman Bill McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface to use as injection ports. As he made the repair, Bill carefully monitored the slab's height to ensure the correct level.

The homeowner is happy to have a smooth pool deck finally. His kids can use the pool without losing any toenails, and he saved time and money choosing our non-invasive solution.
