This crawl space in Franklin, OH, was dealing with moisture related issues like wet fiberglass, wet wood, and musty smells. We installed an encapsulation system to seal out moisture from the outside and from the ground. By wrapping the walls with our SilverGlo insulation, ripping out the musty fiberglass, sealing the entire space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, and finishing with a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier installation, we were able to effectively get the moisture under control and improve the insulation system. Now the homeowner doesn't have to worry about musty smells, framing damage, or high energy bills.
This huge crawl space located in Loveland, OH was cold, dark, and wet. In order to make it warm, dry, and bright we encapsulated it for the homeowner! We started by installing our SilverGlo foam insulation panels all over the walls. We then waterproofed the crawl space by installing perforated pipes in trenches all around the perimeter. The drainage pipes were connected to a SmartSump sump pump, which we installed in the lowest corner of the crawl space. We then installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier all over the floor and up the walls of the crawl space in order to isolate the crawl space from the earth. The vapor barrier also brightens the crawl space thanks to its white reflective color. We then installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to make sure this ginormous space stays dry 24/7. The result of this project made the homeowners very happy, knowing their homes foundation is protected for the future.

This crawl space in Milford, OH, was struggling to keep out ground water, causing a multitude of problems like musty smells, poor insulation, wood damage, moisture damage, bug infestations, etc... We first waterproofed the space by wrapping the perimeter with drainage tile, and then we hooked up the drainage system up to a sump pump, (not pictured). After waterproofing, we then laid our drainage matting all across the floor, which contains dimples, to help preserve the vapor barrier that we installed over the top of the matting. Lastly, we wrapped the walls with our SilverGlo insulation and installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the space dry and well insulated.
