Glenn contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawlspace Repair with concerns of sagging floors, moisture, and wood rot in the crawlspace at his home in Havelock, NC.

SEFR scheduled for one of our design specialists, Andy, to go out and inspect the home. After the inspection, Andy met with Glenn to go over what he found and proposed which is to have the Smart Jack System installed. Glenn was excited and ready to get the ball rolling.

Our crew led by Pedro, installed the Smart Jack System. There is a section of the floor in the crawlspace that drops down where the living room is. Inside of the house its a literal step down living room. In the section where it drops down we are removing the section beam that is closest to the front foundation wall. It is 19' long and we are removing it, sistering (6)15' joists, and then in the beams place we are installing 20' of steel beam and 4 Smart Jacks. There is a wall that separates the kitchen from the living room and under that wall there are two beams about 2ft apart. We are keeping both of those beams in place, but we are installing Smart Jacks in between the piers on each. We are installing 3 Smart Jacks under each.

Bud contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned about mold problems associated with moisture issues that he was experiencing in the stand-up crawl space of his home.

Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Ben Daniels met with Bud to go over the crawl space and to find the best solution for this moisture problem.

Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. By installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System we are able to prevent moisture from entering the crawl space from the earth's ground.
