Before: This Westford, MA homeowner was dealing with sagging floors caused by inadequate basement support. During our inspection, we found that aging wooden support posts and temporary support posts were no longer providing the structural strength needed to support the floor system above. As a result, the floors had begun to sag, creating concerns about stability and making future home improvement projects difficult to tackle with confidence.

After: To permanently stabilize the floor system, Erickson Foundation Solutions installed four SmartJack® support posts in the basement. The SmartJack system provides strong, adjustable support to reinforce weakened floor structures and help prevent further movement. With the new supports in place, the homeowner now has a stabilized floor system and can confidently move forward with other home projects, knowing their home is built on a stronger foundation.

This homeowner had concerns with the supports in the crawlspace. The floors in the home were sagging and noisy, and the supports in the crawlspace were old, rusted, and unreliable. A number of SmartJacks were installed by Erickson Foundation Supportworks, as well as some reinforcing steel i-beams.

A homeowner in Pembroke, New Hampshire, had an old farmhouse that had sagging floors. The EFS team installed 10 SmartJacks into the basement of the farmhouse.

In Pembroke, NH, the homeowner faced significant challenges with a bowing fieldstone foundation wall and a consistently wet, dirt basement floor. In the first photo, ample evidence of instability raised concern for the home's structural integrity. Our team recommended placing the StableLock system to enhance the wall's stability. Look at our after photo, where we applied Drainage Matting and CleanSpace for floor encapsulation, addressing water infiltration robustly. We further bolstered the area with the UltraSump Sump Pump system and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for a drier, healthier living space.

This homeowner in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts had a large horizontal crack in their foundation wall. They are concerned that the crack could be a part of a bigger issue. The homeowners decided to call EFS for a free inspection. 

A design specialist inspected the home. Isaac recommended installing Geolock into the basement to secure the wall.
