This homeowner was concerned with the condition of their concrete deck around their inground pool in Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. Various sections of the surface were uneven due to settlement, and cracks had formed throughout the patio. They wanted to not only fix the existing problems, but also see what they could do to prevent future settlement as well.
Our team designed and installed a solution utilizing our PolyLevel product, a polymer foam which is injected through tiny port holes to fill the voids beneath the concrete. as the voids are filled, the concrete lifts back up in a controlled manner, and allows our team to level out the concrete surface as much as possible. The homeowner was glad to not have to remove any concrete and pour new, as this would be a costly and messy process. Out team was able to complete the lift and stabilization of the concrete in a single day. The photos featured in this before and after highlight one section of the deck near a pool filter which were leveled out to remove a trip hazard.

This homeowner in New Boston, New Hampshire was experiencing water entering their basement through the bulkhead. Design Specialist John Prince came to the home and suggested waterproofing the bulkhead. Crew Lead Nick Carelli and his team came to the home and installed a waterproofing system on the bulkhead. They installed a waterproof barrier around the concrete bump-out that the bulkhead is resting on to ensure that no water can enter the basement through the bulkhead anymore.
A homeowner in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts noticed the concrete around the pool deck was sinking and becoming unlevel. Previous sealant installed to joints also began to crack, leaving an undesirable look. Looking to level the concrete before matters became worse, he reached out to Erickson Foundation Solutions.
Our Design Specialist, Jim Meglio, recommended installing PolyLevel to lift and level the concrete. The polyurethane foam was injected underneath the slabs in the sunken area, filly voids to instantly lift the concrete. After the installation crew leveled the concrete tiling, NexusPro was installed to the joints to seal them. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry.
With PolyLevel and NexusPro installed to the pool deck, it is now lifted, leveled, and stabilized. Tripping hazards are eliminated while also providing a new attractive look!
