Retaining Wall

Retaining walls are relatively rigid walls used for supporting soil laterally so that it can be retained at different levels on the two sides. Shotcrete is a method of applying concrete projected at high velocity primarily on to a vertical or overhead surface. The impact created by the application consolidates the concrete.

Footing Repair

Our Poly crew epoxied the rebar cage, poured concrete, patched concrete, epoxied carbon fiber through cracks to stitch them up, and parge coated the footings to blend.

Spalling Concrete Repair

This customer had a number of concrete walls in his garage and crawlspace that had a significant amount of spalling. What is spalling? A spall is defined as flakes of material that are broken off of a larger solid body. Concrete spalling typically begins when the steel reinforcing embedded within the concrete member rusts. Our Poly crew went in and grinded the spalling cement walls and covered the areas in parge coat. Once they rehydrated the areas after spalling removal and parge coat, they were able to successfully allow the cement to bond leaving the customer with a much nicer result / finish.
