This crawlspace was experiencing an array of issues. It was extremely damp and had high humidity. This weakened the floor system, allowing it to sag and drop under the weight of the home. We encapsulated the entire crawlspace to fix these issues, making it a controlled environment. We then installed a Sedona dehumidifier to dry out the crawlspace and flooring system and prevent any future mold growth. Then we installed 8 galvanized steel beams and 16 smart jacks to to permanently stabilize the floors and lift them back into place, closing the gaps between the walls and ceiling. 

In the middle of their basement living room, these homeowners noticed a concerning sag, which was a direct result of a missing load-bearing wall support. Investigation revealed that the previous homeowners had removed a load-bearing wall in the basement, leading to compromised structural integrity.  Our team assessed the situation and recommended the installation of SmartJacks and a supplemental beam to fully stabilize the middle of the room.

To further strengthen the structural integrity, we installed a supplemental beam that would provide additional support and stability. This beam was carefully positioned and secured to effectively redistribute the weight and prevent further sagging or damage.

This homeowner was worried about possible foundation issues but wasn't sure what exactly was going on. After inspecting the property, we discovered that he was having settlement issues in one corner of the home and was also dealing with downspouts that weren't directing water far enough from the foundation. We solved this dilemma by installing push piers, which stabilize the foundation. We also buried and extended the downspouts to help keep water far from the foundation.
