Geoff D. wanted to sell his home someday, but first he had to resolve a water problem in his basement. Before he could replace the ruined carpet and drywall, we needed someone to help him keep the basement dry - someone who would stand behind their work for the years ahead. That's why he called Thrasher Foundation Repair.

We installed our Waterguard drainage system around the perimeter of the basement to capture and direct any water to the sump pump. Cleanspace vapor barrier was also installed along the basement walls to prevent water from coming into contact with drywall, keeping the space clean, dry and safe.

Have you ever wondered why it's such a big deal if water leaks into your basement? Can't they just mop it up? 

Well, no, not really. If a homeowner is consistently getting water, even if very small amounts, mold will grow. Luckily, we have a solution. We install CleanSpace which is mechanically attached to the basement walls using plastic drilled-in fasteners, ensuring it remains securely in place and continues to prevent water from entering for years to come. 

This customer was experiencing sagging floors on the first level in her home. Upon inspection, we realized the structural support was deteriorating. We used SmartJacks, our crawl space high-capacity steel pier to stabilize and support the home beneath the crawl space.

This homeowner was noticing that their unburied discharge pipe was quickly wearing down and was also a tripping hazard. To fix this, we were able to find a convenient place to bury it under the sidewalk and in the yard while still ensuring the water was carried far enough from the home so it doesn't damage the foundation. 

This owner had a problem with a settled slab in their back patio. It not only looked bad but it was also easy to trip over. Since they loved spending time in this peaceful space, it was important to them to fix the issue and make it functional again.

To solve the problem, we used a solution called PolyLevel. It lifted and leveled the concrete by filling in the empty spaces underneath the slabs. These empty spaces were causing the shifting and cracking. After applying PolyLevel, we sealed the concrete with a product called NexusPro. This made the concrete more durable and helped prevent similar issues in the future. The owner was really happy with the result. They can now enjoy their backyard without worrying about the uneven slab.
