We had our foundation work completed today by Michael and Neil. Neil was here for part of the time and worked very hard. Michael was here for the entire project and worked diligently and precisely to complete the project along with our neighbors foundation. The weather was fiercely hot and humid. And yet, Michael reported for work each day, sometimes alone, and worked long hours in the worst of conditions and never complained. He should be noticed for his dedication to your organization. It is apparent that he has master skills and a wonderful personality to deal with your customers.   Your company is lucky to have such a dedicated employee. 

Michael and Neal worked very hard and it shows in their work. They cleaned up the property and everything was neat.  I am very pleased.

Piers went in when planned. From the estimate meeting to the finished piers everyone was helpful, knowledgeable and kind.

DBS did an excellent job. Very honest and easy to work with. The crew drove from Duluth, got the project done in 1 day working till 6 pm with a drive back to Duluth that same day (3 hour drive)! They laid plastic down to assure the pathway from the entry door to the basement stayed clean and they did a great job cleaning up after the project. They took the time to explain the completed project and were kind and personable. We are very happy with the completed project!

I wanted to thank your crew who did my job!  They were really courteous and extremely easy to work with. The job they did was fantastic.  I and my wife Kris are looking forward to having a dry/damp free lower level to enjoy without having to worry anymore about heavy rains etc.  I have almost gotten everything put back together since the work was done.  At age 65 it just doesn't seem to get done as fast though. The installation crew and office staff were very polite. Tony was very thorough in his presentation. One of the reasons I hired you is other companies did not do attics and your crawlspace price was comparable to theirs.

I had three bids scheduled to address the concerns with collapsing, shearing, and bowing basement block I uncovered when doing the demo on the basement walls of the 100 year old home I purchased. Badger Basement came but never produced a bid, and DBS and another MN based company did give me comparable bids. Both field sales reps were thorough, explained everything, had the same solutions (steel beams to shore up the walls) and when the bids came, they were within $1,000ish of one another. The reason I picked DBS is because of their origin story; a small town family business that has grown over the years by employing reliable family and friends. My sales rep, Rich, and the team that showed up to do the work, led by Jared, were completely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I also purchased the dehumidifier on steroids to ensure clean air in this old home. I am very happy with the $$ I spent on this project - it had to be done or the house was going to collapse. These basement problems do NOT get better with time and will only cost more money in the end. These steel beams come with a guarantee and a warranty. It is transferable to the next owners when the house sells. They will return for several years and tighten up the bolts that will *hopefully* get the block walls plumb again. This is an investment into the health of your home, the future value of your home, and your personal health - mold spores are BAD! Spend the money!
