The city of Duluth had recently updated their curbs and city sidewalks in front of this Duluth, MN home. The homeowner wanted to make sure their sidewalk was level with the newly poured sidewalks. In these photos you can see where the sidewalk meets the new curb, what could have been a tripping hazard, is now removed by leveling the existing sidewalk.
After living in their home for over 25 years, these Duluth, MN homeowners wanted to finally take care of their concrete. They had a crack in their breezeway concrete slab, between the home and garage that was getting progressively worse. Worried about safety, and with pressure from the homeowner's 102-year-old father to get it fixed, they reached out to DBS!
DBS Design Specialist Ericka Boyum visited the home and provided a free, no-obligation estimate. To lift and level the concrete, PolyLevel® was recommended. DBS Foreman Jason Foster and his production crew successfully installed and leveled the slab and sidewalk using PolyLevel® and sealed the cracks using NexusPro™.
These homeowners now have a safe, stable, and level sidewalk that will last for years to come!
The beginning and end of this sidewalk had sunken, but the middle section had stayed in place which produced a bump along the sidewalk rather than the flat surface that had originally been installed. By using PolyLevel we were able to eliminate this bump and provide the homeowner with a much nicer looking flat surface leading to their front door.
