A Palmyra, MI couple found their forever home 25 years ago. As they have aged together, getting up and down the basement stairs has become more of a challenge. Elon, a project manager for HomeSpec, went out to the home for an inspection and conversation with the homeowners. He learned that the moisture issues were originating from the windows and proposed the couple install SunHouse™ Window Wells as the remedy. A homeowner in Dexter, MI with a persistent leak in their basement called us out to reinfect a crack that was causing water to leak into the basement and cause them trouble. Our crew used High Pressure Urethane Crack Injection to seal the crack and prevent any more water from entering the home.

After moving into a 1970s house in Britton, MI, the homeowner discovered water in the basement. When it rained, water intruded and damaged the floor and walls. They spoke with the homeowner about their concerns and then explored both the interior and the exterior of the house. After a thorough review, the project manager proposed a repair plan. They recommended installing an interior drainage system using WaterGuard® French drains throughout the basement. This system would then connect to a new sump pump and discharge line, escorting the unwanted water out of the basement and away from the house. The homeowner agreed to this repair plan and scheduled it for execution by a HomeSpec crew.
