Kathryn realized the cold air entering her crawl space must be causing her frigid upstairs floor. After researching her options, she called Ayers to have it sealed completely. We sent specialists to her house, and after evaluating the space, they recommended rim joist insulation. Sealing these small cracks and crevices creates a barrier against cold air, moisture, and allergens. Kathryn feels much more comfortable in her home!

Steve's support structures were lacking so he decided on calling Ayers for a professional replacement. We sent a crew to take a look and make the proper recommendations. After the inspection it was agreed that SmartJacks would solve his issues. SmartJacks are steel support columns that are placed on a solid foundation base installed in the sub-floor and attached at the top to a steel support beam. The steel columns can be adjusted in the future and will raise the floors back to its original position. This will provide Steve with a strong and stable support system so his home's safety is ensured!

Quinn's concerns about her foundation support were growing. The wooden support posts in her basement were rotting. She called Ayers for our foundation repair options. We sent a team to her home for a free inspection to determine the appropriate repair option. SmartJacks are the right solution for Quinn's basement. SmartJacks provide supplemental column support. We installed this system by attaching steel support beams to the floor joists and a sturdy base in the subfloor. The steel columns are adjusted to raise the floors to a level position. This customer contacted us because they had a couple walls in their basement that were bowing. We all know bowing walls probably aren't a good sign and we wanted to get this taken care of as soon as possible. We offer many different solutions for foundation walls depending on the area outside your home, the results you are expecting, and how bad the wall is. 

For this home we were able to install our PowerBrace system on one of the walls. PowerBraces are a great option because they allow the wall to be straightened over time as the system can be tightened as the wall moves back to it's desired position. This system has a very noninvasive isntall and will not disturb the lawn or anything outside the home. These also usually take less than a day to install, so it's a great option and gets the job done.

We received a call from a concerned homeowner in Frankenmuth, MI who was dealing with a cracked foundation wall. This bowing block foundation wall needed a permanent fix, so we sent a crew for an inspection. Our System Design Specialists concluded from this inspection that CarbonArmor would prevent further wall bowing. CarbonArmor is made of carbon fiber straps that we strap to the wall to keep it from moving any further. These straps are ten times stronger than steel and are adhered to the wall using a strong epoxy resin. The system is secured to the wall with steel brackets, preventing the wall from shifting and cracking again!
