Adrian noticed every time the power went out, his sump pump stopped working and would leak water onto the floor. He decided to call Ayers to hear about our waterproofing solutions. Our crew visited his home and suggested the UltraSump system to reduce failure during outages by providing a battery-powered backup. Also, the UltraSump system includes an alarm to alert the homeowner when it has turned on. Adrian is excited he has a dry basement!

The homeowners in Mio, MI ran into some trouble when a heavy rain flooded their walk-in basement. They could not figure out where the water was coming from and they had no sump pump.

Our professional team took action and installed a SuperSump sump pump into the homeowner's basement. The SuperSump sump pump is a full-featured system that includes the best components available. The SuperSump removes water from the basement into a drainage system that takes the water outside your home. It includes the SuperLiner, which is an airtight lid that looks more attractive, keeps pests out and eliminates safety hazards of an open sump pump. The product also has a floor drain in case an unforeseen accident puts water on your basement floor. It includes a WaterWatch Alarm, which alerts the homeowner if the water level rises above the sump pump intake.  The SuperSump also includes a check valve to prevent pumped water from re-entering the home.

Kareen and her son want to get her home in tip top shape so if they need to sell in the next couple years, all the issues are taken care of. Roseanne's basement has a block foundation with paneling on the walls. Water damage had caused one section of the wall to begin crumbing onto the floor from behind the paneling. She called Ayers Basement Systems for an inspection and our crew determined that Roseanne would need WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump with IceGuard and an exterior discharge line to waterproof her basement and prevent further damage.  

WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. The TripleSafe sump pump system utilizes three pumps to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out. IceGuard is a simple addition to your already existing sump pump. It allows water to escape when the discharge line is frozen and prevents your basement flooding in cold weather. IceGuard is completely automatic, meaning after the initial installation, it’s done. Finally, an exterior discharge line is a drain installed leading to the low point of the property, sending water away from the home. Since the system is inside, there’s no dirt to clog it up and water is discharged effectively via the sump pump.
