These Mulliken homeowners have a very big water problem in their basement. The water even flows across the floor as well as along the wall. We installed the WaterGuard system to keep the water out of the basement. The drain is under the floor and collects the water that seeps in. We first addressed the sloped wall in the basement and stabilized and smoothed it with Shotcrete. Shotcrete is concrete that is applied by spraying it through a high pressure hose. This reinforces that wall and provides stability, while also creating a nice smooth surface.

Next, we installed a perimeter drainage system connected to a sump pump in the basement. This allows water to be collected and then rerouted to the SuperSump so that water can be pumped out of the basement. The final step of adding a poured concrete floor dramatically improves this space and makes it more functional and more inviting.
