Homeowners in Vermontville, MI kept their crawl space clean and organized but were still fighting a battle to keep it dry. With unfinished wood walls and dirt floors, moisture was soaking in and causing puddles to form that could eventually lead to mold.

CleanSpace, a white, durable liner, was brought in to seal moisture out of the crawl space. This liner acts as a vapor barrier preventing any water or humidity from passing through. Its mold resistant properties will keep any mildew and rot away as well as pests, insects, and smelly odors.  

The customer called us in dire need of a solution for his leaking basement walls. Heavy rains and outside water pressure had made the problem worse.

We installed WaterGuard® in the entire basement to collect seeping water from their basement walls and drain it into the sump pump. As an added measure, we installed a TrenchDrain™ to catch water that may enter the basement from an outside entryway as well as prevent freezing in the winter. 

The customer also opted to install our new ThermalDry Elite Plank flooring with a beautiful walnut finish in their newly waterproofed basement. Our flooring is inorganic and waterproof, which means you don’t need to worry about your floor harboring mold.

When a local contractor had done work on one section of the house, he'd put block pilings in the crawl space as a temporary fix, but she soon learned that it was very temporary and not really a fix.
