Crawl Space Repair Company in Richmond, Kentucky

This before and after highlights why traditional vented crawl spaces often fall short. Many homes are built with wall vents, a thin plastic sheet over the gravel, and fiberglass insulation between the joists—methods that meet code but don’t always address real moisture concerns. In most climates, vented crawl spaces allow humidity to build up, leading to musty air and long-term damage. By encapsulating the space, as shown here, we’re able to control moisture, improve air quality, and protect the home’s structure for years to come. The silver insulation panels along the walls also replace ceiling fiberglass, creating a cleaner, more efficient solution.

Crawl Space Repair in Richmond, Kentucky

This home in Richmond, Kentucky was on the market, and a third party inspector recommended to the owner that we should install a vapor barrier in the crawl space to help sell the home. We started by removing all the debris from the space, including the existing, "vapor barrier." We used quotes to describe the disheveled plastic liner that was already in the space because it wasn't stopping outside vapor at all. Next, we wrapped the entire space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, which is much sturdier, cleaner, and effective. We ended up using 1,860 sq ft of our patented product, and we made sure to tape the seams with our CleanSpace tape to ensure the space was sealed completely. The antimicrobial liner, similar to a pool liner, will make selling this home a whole lot easier than before.

Crawl Space Repair Contractor in East Bernstadt, Kentucky

This crawl space in East Bernstadt, KY, was holding way too much moisture. Dirt floored crawl spaces allow immense amounts of moisture to rise up from the ground. It also didn't help that this crawl space had ground water leaking issues where pools of water could build up in the floor. To repair this crawl space, we started by installing a waterproofing system consisting of underground perforated drains backfilled with gravel connected to a sump pump. By waterproofing, we were then able to encapsulate the crawl space with an entire layer of our vapor barrier up and down the walls. We also threw in an energy efficient dehumidifier and insulation panels to help keep the crawl space dry and insulated. The result was a happy customer who is happy with their newly renovated dream home!

The result? A crawl space that's as functional as it is pristine.

Crawl Space Repair in Jeffersonville, Kentucky

This crawl space in Jeffersonville, KY, needed a proper repair system to help control the humidity levels. We started the encapsulation by insulating the walls with our SilverGlo insulation panels and by injecting spray foam over the rim joists. We then installed a dimpled waterproofing membrane across the crawl space floor, giving the CleanSpace vapor barrier we placed on top a raised, stable surface instead of sitting directly on the muddy ground. Next, we sealed the space with our white CleanSpace vapor barrier across the floor and up the walls. Lastly, we installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air in the sealed space conditioned and as dry as can be. The homeowner was happy with the outcome.
