Before: The basement walls of this Peru, IL, home were in a state of severe distress, bowing inward under the relentless hydrostatic pressure of the surrounding soil. Large horizontal cracks and frowning masonry indicated that the structure was nearing a critical failure point, leaving the homeowner in a constant state of anxiety over a potential cave-in.
