Installer, Mike was able to come out to Dan's home to do the installation. The CleanSpace was able to conform to the bumpy walls of Dan's crawlspace. It was a fast and most economical way to encapsulate the space. It is a permanent installation and can be washed if ever needed. It is a bright white, clean, durable vapor barrier for the crawlspace walls.

Homeowner, Dan was needing his basement waterproofed. He wanted his basement waterproofed in a way he was still able to use the space for recreational or storage purposes. Design Specialist, Joe was able to recommend to Dan installing Foamax Basement Wall System. 

Installer, Mike was able to come out to Dan's home to install the Foamax Basement Wall System. This will make Dan's cold walls more of an inviting space for recreational or storage purposes. Foamax will provide comfort to the space at a reasonable cost. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel. Wall leaks will be drained to the perimeter to be caught by the WaterGuard System to drain the water safely, unseen away from the basement and basement walls. The panel can be left exposed but can also be covered over to make the walls look more finished.

In Geneseo, IL, this homeowner wanted a lifetime solution for their basement's recurring flooding issue to secure their "forever" home. Before, the space risked turning things musty and damp after every rain. As you can see, there's quite a transformation. We installed WaterGuard, a TripleSafe sump pump, and CleanSpace to channel water away, ensuring a dry and healthy environment year-round. To further enhance this, we also installed a Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to help keep humidity at bay. Our solution created a safe space and mitigated the risks of leaks in this Geneseo, IL home. 

A residential property in Geneseo, IL, presented chronic moisture ingress, elevated relative humidity, and compromised subterranean utility, rendering the basement space unusable. System Design Specialist Jamie Cox performed a rigorous site evaluation, identifying hydrostatic pressure forcing groundwater through the floor-wall joint, alongside high ambient moisture vapor transmission. To permanently mitigate these sub-surface water management failures and restore structural utility, Jamie engineered a multi-tiered hydrodynamic drainage and environmental control system.

Structural Repair Foreman Jacob Oetzman and his technical installation crew, Antonio and Devin B, mobilized to execute the precision deployment of the engineered waterproofing network. The team began by mechanical breaching of the concrete slab perimeter to establish a trench for the WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain System. This specialized piping profile was installed directly on top of the footing, safely isolated from the "mud zone" to prevent clogging while efficiently capturing weeping wall and floor-wall joint moisture. Concurrently, the crew encapsulated the foundation walls using the CleanSpace® Wall Vapor Barrier, a heavy-duty, 20-mil thick poly-reinforced material that completely isolates the interior space from vapor transmission and channels all wall leaks directly down into the below-floor drainage track.

To manage the high volume of collected groundwater, the drainage system was tied into the high-capacity TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System. This multi-pump configuration provides structural redundancy, featuring an primary AC pump, a secondary backup AC pump for peak influxes, and a third DC-powered battery backup pump to sustain operational continuity during localized grid failures. To address ambient air quality and relative humidity, Jacob, Antonio, and Devin B installed the high-efficiency SaniDry Sedona™ Dehumidifier. This commercial-grade filtration unit maintains relative humidity below the critical 50% threshold, effectively suppressing mold proliferation and dust mite activity. Following a comprehensive site cleanup and concrete restoration over the sub-floor drainage line, the technical intervention by MidAmerica Basement Systems transformed the damp environment into a permanently dry, healthy, and structurally sound space optimized for storage or residential utility.
