Crawl Space Encapsulation and Drainage System Installation in Noblesville
Crawl Space Encapsulation and Drainage System Installation in Noblesville
-
Before the Project:
- Homeowner CJ in Noblesville was experiencing moisture concerns in two separate crawl spaces beneath the home
- One crawl space had a restricted access opening, while the other offered limited headroom of just over three feet
- Steep grade changes and a nearby ditch created additional drainage challenges around the property
- Specialist Terry recommended a comprehensive moisture control and drainage solution
-
Solution & Installation:
- Foreman Joe and his crew enlarged the crawl space access opening to improve entry and installation access
- A StarPipe drainage system was installed to collect and direct water beneath the home
- A SuperSump system was added with a cast iron pump, airtight lid, CleanPump stand, WaterWatch alarm, IceGuard protection, a 15-foot discharge line, and a LawnScape outlet
- CleanSpace encapsulation was installed throughout both crawl spaces to help isolate the area from ground moisture and outside air
- SilverGlo insulation was added to improve energy efficiency and temperature control
- A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to maintain healthy humidity levels
- Additional electrical outlets were installed to support the waterproofing and dehumidification systems
-
After the Project:
- Both crawl spaces are now better equipped to handle moisture despite the challenging site conditions
- Improved drainage, encapsulation, and humidity control help create a cleaner, drier environment beneath the home
- Added insulation supports greater energy efficiency and comfort throughout the house
- CJ now has a more protected crawl space system built for long-term performance
