Bowing Basement Walls Supported With GeoLock In Kirkwood, MO

This Kirkwood homeowner's basement walls were in a worrisome state. Over the years, small hairline cracks in the walls had grown into large fractures, and he was concerned about the possibility of a total wall collapse. In order to support and protect the walls, a Woods Basement Systems team installed several GeoLock wall anchors. These work by connecting steel plates on the interior surface of the damaged walls to heavy anchors buried deep in the firm soil away from the foundation, effectively pulling the walls outward.
