Kevin of Vandalia, Illinois wanted to finally clean-up his crawl space after years of putting it off. Once he reached out to Woods Basement Systems he was paired with system design specialist, John S., who designed a custom-fit plan for Kevin's crawl space needs. 

Thanks to the leadership of foreman, James L., the CleanSpace was installed quickly and efficiently. Now Kevin will have a safe, clean, mold-free crawl space for many more years to come!

In Vandalia, Illinois homeowner Heather D. had her basement waterproofed by Woods Basement Systems. After getting her basement waterproofed, she still wanted to change the appearance of her basement walls that had been damaged from rainwater over the years. She knew that Woods would have good options for her that would work well in her home.

After getting an estimate, Heather decided to have our CleanSpace Liner installed on the walls of her basement. CleanSpace is a thick, durable liner (similar to a pool liner) that cover the walls of your basement or crawlspace. CleanSpace will brighten up the space while keeping the area dry and free of any moisture or water. After an easy installation, Heather was happy with the look of her basement in her home.

Before this crawl space was dirty and had insulation that was falling. With the help of Team Woods, this crawl space was clean and sealed with a CleanSpace vapor barrier. This inorganic barrier will keep out harmful outer elements that damage the crawl space. 

CleanSpace reduced the amount of humidity that was in this crawl space and kept it looking clean and brand new.  CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, that is fitted into a crawl space to completely seal a home from the dirt floor below.  It is puncture and tear resistance, and is incredible durable.  It also includes an antimicrobial additive called "UltraFresh" manufactured into the material to prevent mold growth.  The liner is sealed around obstructions such as the Crawl Space support we see in the picture here.  The crawl space is now a clean dry space ready to be used for storage!

This dirty, wet crawl space was cleaned up and waterproofed with Woods' CleanSpace vapor barrier. First our crews remove any standing water, repair any damaged structures, and install new insulation. Then our CleanSpace vapor barrier is installed to keep out any moisture, mold, critters, and other allergens. This product transforms any crawl space into a dry, clean, energy-efficient part of the house.
