This Mechanicsburg, IL crawlspace was filled with rocks and dirt, and not to mention causing the floors of the home to be cold. It also had mold. A CleanSpace liner was installed to help reduce moisture and humidity, which can cause mold spores. The liner is easy to clean and will also help maintain temperature control throughout the home. Rodney C., Nokomis, Illinois homeowner, was troubled by the mold over taking his crawlspace. The mold was a health and safety concern for his home. System design specialist John S. designed a solution to keep the crawlspace dry and mold free.

Foreman Josh B. installed the CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system. CleanSpace is an inorganic vapor barrier that prevents water from entering the basement. Because it is inorganic, it does not support mold growth. In addition to CleanSpace, the SaniDry dehumidfier was installed.

Rodney is thrilled to know is home is now safe and healthy. He no longer has concerns of mold overtaking his craswlspace.

A trash can liner was used as a sump pump well to collect and pump water out of this Carbondale, Illinois crawl space.  We installed a SmartSump® crawl space sump with plumbing leak alarm, covered lid, and radon control drain in the lid.  The white CleanSpace® liner prevents vapors from leaving the dirt soil and entering the living space of the home!
