A crawlspace's insulation was failing in Ellisville, MO, and moisture was entering it. It was also not supported correctly, causing even more issues. To fix these problems, SilverGlo Insulation was first installed. This features a radiant barrier infused with graphite, so the heat is reflected into the crawlspace, saving energy. Next, the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed. This will completely isolate the crawlspace from the earth, dramatically reducing the humidity level. This will also eliminate mold growth and make the whole house healthier. The white finished side will brighten the crawlspace and allow one to see inside easily. Lastly, the SmartJack System was installed. These are steel support systems that can permanently stabilize and level the floor joists and girders in a crawlspace. They are unaffected by moisture, as they will not rust, weaken, or be affected by mold. Foreman Kevin J. and his crew installed CleanSpace vapor barrier on the walls and WaterGuard around the perimeter. The CleanSpace used on the walls will collect any water vapor that makes it through the porous walls. Instead of evaporating into the basement, it will now be caught and redirected to the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard will collect the water and take it to the sump pump to be removed from the home. 

Joe and Jill can now enjoy a dry basement.
