BrightWall Wall Panels installed in St. Charles, MO

Wendy R. of St. Charles had lot of water leaking into her basement through cracks and seams along her walls and wall joints. The water was staining her walls and threatening her furniture and pool table. Wendy knew she needed help so she called Woods Basement Systems for a free estimate. Woods recommended installing a waterproofing system.

Woods installed BrightWall Wall Panels over the stained, cracked walls. BrightWall panels are white plastic panels attached to the foundation walls that are waterproof and stain resistant. They work with the waterproofing system by forming a vapor barrier over the foundation walls and guide water down to the perimeter drainage system. They also give basements a much cleaner and brighter appearance.

Wendy R. is thrilled with the way her walls now look and happy knowing her furniture is safe from water damage.

Basement Finishing with EverLast Basement Wall Panels

This Imperial, Missouri basement remained unfinished and was primarily used for storage until Spring 2020.  The homeowners worked with our Total Basement Finishing Design Specialist, Frank Unger, to layout an all-new floorplan for the basement.  And that's when the transformation began.

These homeowners had already put down their own flooring, but wanted to have the walls done as well. Our specialist knew wood studs, fiberglass insulation, and drywall can spell disaster in the event of a leak or high humidity. So, Woods Basement Systems framed the basement with metal studs and finished the walls with the inorganic EverLast Basement Wall Panels, made from 2 1/2-inch thick rigid foam insulation with 1/2-inch thick cement board cladding. The cement board is finished with an off-white vinyl surface treatment.

What was once a cold, bare, and dark unfinished basement used only for storage is now a beautifully-finished, warm, and bright basement playroom and sewing room.  What a transformation!

EverLast Wall Paneling is mold and moisture resistant and is more durable than the wood framed walls it replaced. It also keeps the upper have away from water, preventing it from any future damage.
