Water was leaking around the perimeter of a basement in Mount Vernon, IL, causing severe damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. As part of the system, Woods installed WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that is installed under the concrete floors along the perimeter of the basement, as shown in the pictures. It’s situated away from any mud that may clog it as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.
