Kent and Susan T. of Gillespie, IL had water coming in through cracks in their ledge wall as well as the wall joints of the foundation walls. They were worried about their stored belongings becoming damaged so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.
CleanSpace was installed along the walls of the basement as part of the waterproofing system. Besides giving the basement a brighter, cleaner appearance, it forms a moisture barrier over the walls to prevent water from entering the basement and guides the water down to the perimeter drainage system.
A foundation was shifting in a basement in Gillespie, IL causing cracks to appear and leak water. To solve this issue, the GeoLock Wall Anchors were first installed. These are galvanized steel earth anchors embedded into the soil out and away from the foundation wall. Once installed, these will hold the walls in their current position and can be tightened to allow for improvement and straightening of the wall over time. These can be installed around obstacles on the wall such as pipes, sinks, or furniture. This is the best solution to straighten the wall over time, as it can fix severe problems and stabilize the foundation for good.
\Additionally, the CleanSpace Basement Wall System was installed. This will prevent water vapor from permeating the basement walls. The white color will also brighten the basement, reflecting the light. Any wall leaks will also be drained down to the perimeter drainage system. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain stable and dry for years to come!
This basement in Mascoutah, Illinois held water during long, heavy rains, but the basement is bone dry since Woods installed the TripleSafe sump pump with battery backup.
This Mascoutah, Illinois home had an outdated sump pump. Woods Basment Systems installed a new sump pump with a battery backup. Even if the power goes out in this home the battery backup will ensure that water never enters the basement. (Please note that the concrete in the after picture hasn't had time to set long enough to cure)
Lynnette of Mascoutah, Illinois noticed large amounts of water standing in her basement and didn't know how to stop it. After she reached out to Woods Basement Systems, system design specialist, Cory S., designed a solution for her leaky basement. One of the products installed was a new WaterGuard draining system. WaterGuard is installed around the perimeter of the home, which collects any water that may leak in and sends that water to the sump pump to exit the home.
