A basement in Granite City, IL, was leaking, unstable and needed to be addressed. This prompted the homeowner to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, GeoLock™ wall anchors were used to stabilize the space. After that, WaterGuard™ was installed to collect the water that entered the basement and direct it to the nearest sump pump. This system won't get clogged due to the horizontal design that sits on top of the soil. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. Then, IceGuard™ was used to ensure the pipes do not freeze or get blocked by snow during the colder winter months. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain healthy, dry, and stable.
We leveled a sinking driveway with PolyLevel® to restore a smooth, even surface. To finish, we applied NexusPro® joint sealant to protect the concrete from water intrusion and future damage.
