This customer was having issues with unlevel places and cracks in his driveway. This is a result of the natural contraction of the expansion of the concrete as the temperatures and the seasons change. Voids in the concrete can lead to water seeping in and saturating the soil underneath, which causes the concrete to sink. It can also lead to complete wash-out of the soil, leaving nothing to stabilize the concrete. This customer decided to give us a call here at Atlanta Basement Systems, and we were able to help him out with the problems in his driveway. Caleb and the crew used PolyLevel and NexusPro crack repair to fix these issues. PolyLevel is a high-density and light weight foam made up of structural grade polymers, that is injected into the concrete. It expands and lifts the concrete to the desired height, and it is durable, leaving the concrete stable. The NexusPro crack repair is a silicone-based sealant, that prevents water infiltration, and will not deteriorate during the natural contraction and expansion of the concrete. This customer was left thoroughly pleased with his results. 

To restore the cracks in this homes driveway, Caleb and his crew used NexusPro Crack Repair to seal off the cracks, and keep them water and wash out proof. In the before photo from East Ellijay, you’ll notice the unlevel and separated front brick steps, posing both aesthetic and safety concerns for the homeowner. Our team at Atlanta Basement Systems expertly addressed this with our PolyLevel solution, stabilizing and realigning the concrete slab with high-strength polyurethane foam. Post-installation, the uneven surface was efficiently leveled. To further enhance durability, we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to the cracks and joints, providing lasting protection against water intrusion. The transformation is clear in the after photo, offering restored functionality and structural integrity.

This homeowner had very cracked and uneven concrete and they were worried about it becoming a tripping hazard. So they reached out to Atlanta Basement Systems to get an estimate on repairing the concrete so they no longer had to worry about it. In order to repair this driveway we used the PolyLevel Injection foam to raise and level the slabs. PolyLevel is strong, but lightweight expanding polyurethane foam that fills the gaps under the concrete. Unlike other solutions, it cures quickly in about 15 minutes and is waterproof. After lifting the slabs, then we filled the cracks to protect the concrete from any further issues. Now the driveway is level and looks great!
