Nate P. of North Carolina wanted to buy a house in Savannah, GA but the floors were weak. Before he purchased the home, he had Lowcountry Foundation Repair inspect the foundation.

Some of the crawl space pillars were sinking into the ground and the home needed additional support. Lowcountry Foundation Repair installed a SmartJack System to support the joists, beams and subfloor; fixing the problem. Nate liked the idea, purchased the home and fixed the foundation problem.

The homeowner noticed cracking on the interior part of their living room in the home. This home had sagging floors in the living room from rotting support beams under the home. Our team at Lowcountry was able to prescribe and install the SmartJack Support System to lift and secure the floors. The rotten wood was first replaced with brand new wood, then the support was installed.

This home was having issues with the level of the floor. Light-duty crawl space jacks were currently supporting the floor, but those jacks were not designed to resist high moisture, leading to rusting, making the jacks useless after a period of time. The owner decided to call us at Lowcountry and we sent our team to install SmartJacks to provide effective, reliable floor support that won't rust over time and can be adjusted later.
