Severe termite damage to the wooden floor joists in the crawl space compromised their ability to provide adequate support.

The crawlspace of this home had suffered from movement, wear and tear over the years. To get the foundation stabilized and the floors re-leveled, LRE installed house jacks, also known as SmartJacks.

A significant sign of foundation issues for the homeowner was the appearance of cracks in the interior walls of the home.

During the crawl space inspection, the LRE Design Specialist observed elevated levels of humidity and moisture, which were significantly affecting the flooring above.

When this homeowner came back from vacation, he was greeted with a flooded crawlspace that had already began showing signs of mold growth.

During the crawl space inspection, the LRE Design Specialist quickly noticed that numerous original block piers had settled, resulting in insufficient support for the floor joists above.

During the crawl space inspection, the LRE Design Specialist quickly identified elevated humidity and moisture levels, confirming the homeowner's concerns and highlighting the need for immediate action to prevent further damage.

The inspection conduct by the LRE Design Specialist revealed that the block piers supporting the home's floor joists had settled, causing the floor joists to slope.
