Our expert Design Specialist found that the foundation had settled due to unstable soil, worsened by repeated heavy rainfall over time. To address the issue, we developed a tailored repair plan using our helical pier system to lift and permanently stabilize the foundation.

With Joe’s approval, our team installed each pier deep into the ground until they reached strong, load-bearing soil. The piers were then securely bracketed to the foundation’s footer, allowing the home’s weight to be transferred to stable soil layers. Using a combination of services called PolyLevel and NexusPro, LRE was able to solve these homeowners' concerns with ease. PolyLevel is a polymer foam material that is injected through small drill holes in the concrete driveway and expands to lift areas of the drive while it solidifies the soils below. Once the driveway was stabilized, LRE used NexusPro to seal visible cracks and smooth out the concrete. NexusPro is a silicone-based, flexible sealer that protects the integrity of the concrete while smoothing out and diminishing the appearance of cracks. Once this project was complete, these homeowners were thrilled with the results and could enjoy their protected driveway for years to come.

LRE was able to apply NexusPro to the area, a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks that not only smooths out the look of the unsightly cracks but also protects the walkway from future moisture infiltration, weed growth and damage from outside elements. NexusPro is carefully applied in cracks that have been drilled, smoothed, and ready for the product application, and finished off with a thin layer of sand to match the surrounding concrete. Helical piers are galvanized steel posts that are drilled into the ground around the problematic areas of the home and attached to the home's footer using a galvanized steel bracket.
