In Miami, FL, Sarima had noticed musty smells throughout her home that seemed to be getting worse over time. Her home has a crawl space, and she suspected that moisture issues beneath her home were the source of the odors. She reached out to LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection to have her crawl space assessed by one of our local expert Design Specialists.
Upon arriving at Sarima's home, our specialist entered the crawl space and discovered high levels of humidity and moisture, creating an environment conducive to mold and mildew growth. Our specialist then developed a customized plan to fully seal and encapsulate the crawl space using the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. This system helps protect the crawl space from moisture and humidity issues associated with Florida's wet and humid climate.
Sarima opted for this solution, and our team began by clearing the crawl space of debris and sealing the entire area with the CleanSpace moisture barrier. A specialized dehumidifier and drainage system were also installed to help control humidity and remove any water that may enter the crawl space.
With the installation complete, Sarima can now enjoy a cleaner, drier crawl space and greater peace of mind knowing that the area beneath her home is better protected against moisture issues.
Jacob from Miami Beach, FL, was experiencing severe moisture problems in his home's crawl space and called LRE Foundation Repair for a thorough inspection. After one of our local expert Design Specialists evaluated the crawl space, it was discovered that mold and mildew had developed throughout the area, penetrating the wooden support joists and negatively impacting the home's indoor air quality.
To resolve the issue and provide long-lasting protection, our team first applied LumberKote to the wooden support joists to help prevent future mold growth. Next, we encapsulated the entire crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, creating a durable moisture barrier for year-round protection. The system also included a specialized dehumidifier to keep the crawl space clean, dry, and free of excess humidity.
With the project complete, Jacob was relieved to know that his crawl space was fully protected and that the air inside his home was cleaner and healthier.
After purchasing their new home in Homosassa, Florida, Tina and her husband were shocked to discover that several areas of their floors had dropped, creating noticeable gaps between the walls and ceiling. Concerned about the structural integrity of their home, they reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for a free crawl space inspection.
Our expert Design Specialist conducted a thorough evaluation and quickly identified the root of the problem—insufficient support for the home’s floor joists, causing them to sag and slope. To provide a lasting solution, we developed a plan to reinforce the floor system using our state-of-the-art SmartJack system.
With Tina and her husband's approval, our team got to work, carefully installing SmartJacks in the crawl space to lift and stabilize the floor joists. By the time the project was complete, their floors were back to a safe, level position. Now, Tina and her husband can settle into their new home with confidence, knowing their foundation is strong, stable, and secure for years to come.
Torrey from New Port Richey, Florida, noticed cracks in her home’s exterior walls growing worse over the course of a year. She knew she had to act fast before the problem could worsen, so she called us at LRE Foundation Repair to request a free inspection of her home’s foundation. After sending our expert Design Specialist to her home to conduct the full home inspection, we discovered that the underlying soil beneath her home had settled, causing the foundation to become unstable and shift. We created a comprehensive repair plan that included permanently stabilizing and lifting the foundation back into its proper position with our helical pier system. With Torrey’s approval of this plan, our team set to work carefully installing each helical pier deep into the ground beneath the foundation until strong, load-bearing soil layers were reached. From here, the piers were bracketed to the foundation’s footer, and the weight of the home was successfully transferred to the competent soil layers. Our team then successfully lifted the foundation back into place, closing the cracks in the walls. With her home’s foundation now permanently stabilized, Torrey can now enjoy lasting peace of mind for many years to come.
Basil, from Tarpon Springs, Florida, knew their home had serious foundation issues when severe cracking appeared on the exterior walls. Following a thorough full-home inspection by a Design Specialist from LRE Foundation Repair, it was determined that major soil settlement had caused the foundation to become unstable. Helical piers were installed by the LRE team to lift the foundation back into its original position, effectively closing the wall cracks and providing permanent stabilization. Seeing the wall cracks closed, Basil’s family can feel safe knowing that their home’s foundation is now secure.
