Bill B. from Beverly Hills, Florida reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, seeking a solution to rejuvenate his old driveway. The driveway had multiple stains and cracks, and Bill was hoping that LRE could fix them. Upon inspection, LRE discovered that the expansion joints had rotting wood fillings, which had caused damage and allowed moisture and mildew to accumulate. To address the issue, LRE removed the wood fillings and prepared the cracks and joints for sealing with NexusPro, a flexible, silicone-based crack filler that is perfect for such projects. After filling all the cracks and joints, LRE color-matched the concrete with a tinted concrete sealer called DecoShield and applied it over the driveway. The result was a beautiful driveway that not only looked brand new but was also well-protected for years to come. Bill was thrilled with the outcome.
Dave from Largo, Florida, became increasingly worried after spotting large gaps appearing between the stair steps of his home’s front porch staircase, leading him to suspect the structure’s foundation was settling. Concerned about safety and further damage, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for help.
Our Design Specialist visited Dave’s property to take a closer look and quickly identified the root of the problem: the soil beneath the stairs had settled, compromising the structure’s support and causing it to sink. We proposed a permanent repair solution that consisted of installing our helical pier system to lift the staircase and permanently restore its stability.
After reviewing the plan and giving our team his approval, Dave observed as our crew got to work. The helical piers were installed deep into solid, load-bearing soil, and the staircase was carefully lifted back to its proper position. With the gaps closed and the structure secured, Dave can now enjoy lasting peace of mind, knowing his front entry’s staircase is once again safe and secure.
Diana was preparing to list her home for sale in Belleair, Florida, and sought to ensure its maximum value by having the floors leveled and stabilized. She asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, and an expert Design Specialist visited her home to conduct a thorough inspection of the crawl space. The specialist discovered that, due to soil settlement, numerous block piers supporting the floor joists above had sunk, resulting in insufficient support for the floors above. To level the floors and provide permanent stabilization, the LRE team installed the SmartJack system in the crawl space. With this solution in place, the floors are now leveled and stabilized, ensuring that Diana's home is ready to be listed for sale at its highest potential value.
