This homeowner was dealing with a leak on the side of their home, which ended up affecting their first floor and their crawlspace. With a little help from DryZone, we sprayed Shockwave to remediate the start of mold, Cleanspace to encapsulate the space, and blocked the crawlspace vents to control the humidity underneath the home.
This vapor barrier was ripped and had mountains of dirt! With CleanSpace, the vapor barrier is much thicker and is less prone to ripping!
Wood floors can become weak with high moisture. With a crawl space encapsulation, the moisture is controlled and lowered, protecting the wood floors.
This crawlspace goes through a major transformation with the first difference being that CleanSpace was installed to prevent moisture from seeping through the ground. Next the vents are blocked and a Everlast door is installed to limit the amount of of outside air entering the crawlspace. Then last but not least a SaniDry Sedona was installed to remove moisture from the air. This is all done to keep the humidity level of your crawlspace down to levels where mold can not fester.
Us here at DryZone believe that every crawlspace no matter it's size or shape deserves the very best. To do we keep them dry with the instillation of one of our many different Sump Pumps as well as attaching CleanSpace to the walls and floors.
