This homeowner had recently moved to Deleware and had heard of the effects of an unencapsulated Crawlspace so they called the experts here at DryZone to get their encapsolated. The first thing we did in this Crawlspace was to block the vents to prevent airflow from the outside getting and then CleanSpace was installed which will act as both insulator and encapsulation.
This homeowner in Painter Virginia had concerns of her drafty, damp crawl space. After meeting with her designer, they together built a system using the CleanSpace Encapsulation system to keep the humidity low and seal up out side air.
A crawlspace in lower Seaford, Delaware had completely flooded after a big storm. The water had come all the way up to the pipe lines, and almost to the bottom of the house's flooring.
DryZone came out and drained all the water out, and fixed much of the insulation that had been damaged by the flood.
This home in Seaford, Delaware had a very nasty crawl space before DryZone got called in to fix it. The insulation was hanging and the humidity was well above the comfort level. The DryZone crew pulled out the nasty insulation and added new insulation to the crawl space walls. They also sealed up the vents and installed the CleanSpace liner and SaniDry dehumidifier. When everything was finished, the crawl space looked and felt brand new. Now the homeowners can enjoy a clean and dry area under their home. The house will naturally smell and feel better because all the air coming from underneath the home and into the living space will be conditioned. Allergens are reduced and the chance of mold growth is next to nothing.
This crawlspace in Harbeson, DE had a concrete floor that did not allow water from the walls and floor to drain into a sump. We installed a drainage mat to allow water to flow off of the floor into a sump. We then installed CleanSpace liner in order to keep the humidity out of the crawlspace.
