This is a before and after example of how a slab of concrete in your pool deck can settle into voids causing the surrounding concrete to not only look bad but hazardous. To correct this issue for the homeowner in La Mesa we used our state-of-the-art PolyLevel solution to lift the settled slab of concrete to level. After the slab has stabilized we will inject the cracks with Nexus Pro which will seal and protect the concrete from any further damage.
The before photo shows a post that is not properly supported. Seismic activity over a number of years will cause a post to shift like this, causing sagging floors, sticking doors and windows, and sometimes cracks through the walls. To correct this problem as shown in the after photo we installed 17 new posts with pads and caps like the one you see. Now the posts are correctly supported and more resistant to seismic activity.
T before photos show concrete that has settled into voids which is not only a safety hazard but also a bad eyesore. Because of the stress put on the concrete, cracks have also been made. The after photo shows how we lifted the concrete using our PolyLevel solution to level and filled the joints and cracks with the state-of-the-art sealant NexusPro.
