Helical Piers in Los Angeles
Built in 1924, this Los Angeles home was upgraded with seismic retrofitting to improve its earthquake resistance. Our team reinforced the crawl space walls with cripple wall sheathing, combining heavy-duty metal mesh and structural plywood to strengthen the home's existing structure.
The Before Picture is a Crawlspace that has no Seismic Retrofitting components attaching the home to the foundation.
The After Picture shows the same Crawlspace with a Universal Foundation Plate, and a A35 Framing Angle, strengthening the home's attachment to it's foundation.
