Finishing up a project in Stockton, there was a crack that ran along the concrete slab. Our crew was able to patch the crack up.
Originally built in 1938, the basement foundation and staircase of this home in Stockton were failing.
We were happy to help replace both with new concrete.
This customer located in Stockton, noticed his floors were bowing and bouncing when he walked across them. Upon the inspection, our structural consultant found the issues right away. With installing our Smart Jack System, we were able to lift and stabilize the existing beams and floor joists in the crawl space. Sagging beams and floor joist are often the result of improper spacing of existing pier columns or weakened floor systems due to mold and wood rot.
In the "Before" photo, you can see the rebar/forms that were prepared to pour the new foundation and concrete steps.
In the "After" photo, you can see the new foundation and concrete steps. A thing of beauty.
This section of the foundation had deteriorated to a point where there was no coming back from. Our concrete crew removed and replaced it, giving the homeowner a brand new, strong foundation, as well as peace of mind.
