The expansive basement area was inadequately supported, featuring only a few structural posts and several rusting temporary support columns. These deficiencies compromised the stability and support of the floors above, which was a significant concern for the homeowner upon moving into the new residence.
Our team removed the old stone foundation and set up temporary posts before beginning the process of building the Mason Block Wall.

WaterGuard has been installed along the interior perimeter of the fieldstone foundation to collect water and channel it to the sump basin.
The damp conditions in the crawl space facilitated the growth of mold, deterioration of air quality, and the onset of wood rot. Wood rot can undermine the structural integrity of wooden supports and joists, leading to sagging floors. To ensure a dry and stable home environment, a comprehensive solution was necessary.
SmartPipe was installed around the perimeter of the crawl space. This system is designed to capture water along the entire perimeter of the crawl space and deliver it to the sump pump system, all without exposing the crawl space to water.
Our GeoLock rods were installed by coring through the interior of the basement and extending to a trenched area outside the home.
Water entered the basement through foundation cracks, creating an annoying cleanup process and exposing the basement to potential flooding.
