Henrik Mäkitalo was born and raised in Finland and resides in Duluth, MN with his wife Briana and their children. Henrik’s experience includes a vocational degree in home construction and over 15 years in the industry, working in both new construction and repair. He spent 3 years at Finland’s largest home renovation company, Tähtiremontit, and held a management position.
Since joining DBS, Henrik has completed training in Foundation Repair, Basement Waterproofing, and Basement Finishing. He enjoys continuously learning about the products DBS offers and how to better serve his customers. The mission of DBS is to create lasting “WOW” relationships with employees and customers while providing permanent home performance solutions. Henrik takes personal responsibility to “WOW” each and every customer.
Henrik says what he likes about his job is, “the dedicated 'one team spirit'" to provide our customers with the highest level of service by understanding their concerns, informing them of the best options, and installing a permanent solution to reach their desired outcome.” Henrik’s experience in the construction industry brings a great deal of knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion to the DBS team. He believes that DBS delivers on the promise of great quality and service by providing a personal touch to solve unique problems effectively. In his free time, Henrik enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, and fixing up his own house.
