Erik is a project manager for HomeSpec, but before joining our team, he had plenty of experience in this industry! After growing up waterproofing basements with his father, as a child, he did high pressure crack injections, structural repairs, and interior/exterior waterproofing as a young man. He is trained and certified in all things basementy, foundations and crawl spaces - with special certifications in structural repair.
His daily job responsibilities include going to homes to perform inspections, and then coming up with a solution to homeowners' problems by developing a repair strategy. His favorite part about his job is getting to meet new people, and helping them solve their issues to make their lives better! When we asked him for his favorite solution, Erik said he really loves the ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring; "Giving our homeowners a dry, usable and healthy basement is great, but really, it just returns the basement to a basic space. When we can make the basement more beautiful, warmer and more efficient, that's when people are super appreciative, and their appreciation is very rewarding."
