During the inspection of the home's crawl space, the LRE Design Specialist discovered that the floor joists had significantly dropped due to a lack of stable support from below.
Due to the settlement of the underlying soil, the homeowner's driveway had become uneven and numerous cracks had spread throughout the surface.
Large exterior wall cracks emanating from the home's window frames were a clear indication to the homeowner that their foundation's stability may have been compromised.
An inspection of the homeowner's crawl space by an LRE Design Specialist revealed the absence of a proper moisture regulation system, leaving the area vulnerable to excess humidity, moisture damage, and potential mold growth.
Upon inspecting the homeowner's crawl space, the LRE Design Specialist found the crawl space lacked proper moisture protection, leaving it prone to damage and mold growth.
During the crawl space inspection, the LRE Design Specialist quickly noticed that numerous original block piers had settled, resulting in insufficient support for the floor joists above.
The homeowner's concrete driveway had experienced significant settlement caused by erosion of the underlying soil, resulting in widespread surface cracks and serious tripping hazards.
