The helical piers are affixed to a home's footer using a galvanized steel bracket that is custom fit. These piers and brackets are buried under soils once installed leaving no trace of the work completed.
Previous attempts to encapsulate the homeowner's crawl space had proven ineffective, as the use of inferior materials and the absence of proper drainage solutions had failed to keep the area free from moisture.
Over time, the homeowner's driveway has experienced significant cracking and settling, resulting in an uneven surface and a generally unpleasant appearance.
The condition of the crawl area before debris was removed to prepare the area for the installation of the CleanSpace system.
The concrete slabs have settled due to soil washout below, creating significant trip hazards in the driveway.
The LRE team excavates the appropriate amount of soil for the installation of helical piers and strategically positions them in key locations around the foundation.
During rainstorms, this area around the home experienced major flooding, leading to water intrusion inside the house and exerting pressure on the foundation.
A common indicator of foundation settlement is the appearance of stair-step cracking patterns in the walls of a home. The homeowner was alarmed upon observing these cracks and knew their foundation needed to be repaired immediately.
