The crawlspace of this 100-year-old home was suffering from failing support beams, sagging floors, and instability overall. LRE designed the perfect solution that would eliminate these problems for good.
The appearance of stair-step pattern cracks in the exterior walls of the home indicated a clear sign that the foundation was settling.
This home had settlement cracks on the outside walls which needed repair. But before the stucco repairs, LRE fixed the foundation problems.
The exterior cracks in the stucco around the windows and on the walls is what prompted this homeowner to call LRE.
A common indicator of foundation settlement is the appearance of stair-step cracking patterns in the walls of a home. The homeowner was alarmed upon observing these cracks and knew their foundation needed to be repaired immediately.
The separation of the interior walls was a clear sign for the homeowner that their home was experiencing foundation issues.
The brackets are then attached to the home's footer where the weight can then be transferred or shared with the piers rather than on the ground. This helps create a more stable foundation for years to come.
These buildings were stabilized with a product called PolyLevel. This expanding foam material filled in all of the voids and compacted the soils beneath the surface.
